Our Curation & Evaluation Methodology

The Five Pillars of Evaluation

We have developed a proprietary scoring rubric based on five critical pillars. Every potential partner and service is quantitatively and qualitatively assessed against this framework. 1. Scientific & Clinical Validity (Weighting: 40%)

   This is our most heavily weighted criterion. We assess the evidence base for any proposed therapy or intervention. Our medical team, led by our CMO and advised by our scientific board, reviews peer-reviewed literature to confirm efficacy and safety. We reject any practice based on pseudoscience or unsubstantiated claims. Practitioners must hold valid, verifiable credentials from accredited institutions recognized by bodies like Indonesia’s Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI) for physicians.

2. Safety, Compliance & Hygiene (Weighting: 25%)

   We conduct thorough on-site audits to ensure all partners meet and exceed both local and international standards. This includes verifying operational licenses (such as a Surat Izin Usaha Pariwisata), adherence to Indonesian Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) hygiene protocols, proper equipment maintenance and certification, and robust emergency procedures. 3. Guest Experience & Luxury Standards (Weighting: 20%)

   Our clients expect and deserve the highest level of service and comfort. Our Director of Guest Experience, a veteran of Aman and Four Seasons, uses a 150-point checklist to evaluate everything from the quality of linens and ambient noise levels to the professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence of the staff. Privacy and confidentiality are non-negotiable requirements.

4. Practitioner Expertise & Pedigree (Weighting: 10%)

   Beyond credentials, we assess the real-world experience and skill of each practitioner. This involves interviews, reference checks, and direct observation of their practice. We seek out individuals who are not only masters of their craft but are also exceptional communicators capable of guiding our discerning guests on their health journey. 5. Sustainability & Ethical Practices (Weighting: 5%)

   We believe that true wellness is inseparable from the health of the environment and the local community. We evaluate partners on their commitment to sustainability, such as their policies on waste management, water conservation, and single-use plastics. Our Four-Stage Vetting Process

No partner is onboarded without successfully passing our comprehensive four-stage process:

1. Initial Screening: A thorough review of all documentation, including licenses, certifications, insurance, and public reputation.
2. Expert Panel Review: Our internal medical and wellness experts analyze the scientific claims and proposed protocols of the potential partner.
3. Unannounced On-Site Audit: A member of our senior leadership team conducts an unannounced, in-person visit to experience the service firsthand and perform a physical inspection of the facilities.
4. Continuous Monitoring & Feedback Loop: Once a partner is accepted, they are subject to annual re-audits. We also maintain a rigorous feedback system, incorporating confidential input from our guests to ensure standards are consistently maintained at the highest level.
